Top O-Level Provincial Schools 2025

Earlier this year, the Minister of Primary and Secondary Education announced a new national school ranking and rewards programme aimed at promoting academic excellence across Zimbabwe. Under the initiative, the top 10 best-performing schools in each province will be publicly recognised based on their 2025 Grade Seven, O-Level and A-Level examination results.

In line with this development, this article highlights some of the top-performing O-Level schools from each province using their reported 2025 pass rates. The rankings are based on the percentage of candidates who obtained at least five O-Level subjects with Grade C or better.

The list also provides an opportunity to see how schools across the country's provinces performed and to celebrate institutions that continue to achieve outstanding academic results.
