Ellis Robins School
Ellis Robins School was founded in 1953 and it is located in Mabelreign, Harare. It is a boys-only school and its sister school is Mabelreign Girls High School.
The school is owned by the government, and it has a boarding facility. The school is named after Sir Ellis Robins, who was Chairman of the British South Africa Company.
The school has an enrolment of about 950 pupils and a staff complement of about 50.
Ellis Robins School Pass Rates
The “O” Level pass rate was at 19.7% in 2014, rising to 27.0% in 2015, then to 30% in 2016.
At “A” Level, the pass rates for the school are lower than the national pass rates. The 2014 “A” Level pass rate was 54. 9% rising to 60.5% in 2015 and to 67% in 2016.
Ellis Robins Secondary School Application
There are no Ellis Robins Secondary School application forms to download for form one places 2021. The enrolment is done online through the Ministry of Education’s EMAP platform.
This is usually available after publication of the Grade 7 results. You are encouraged to apply as quickly as possible because the competition for places is stiff and there are fewer places available.
Ellis Robins High School Fees
The school is generally not expensive. In 2018 the day scholars paid US$172 and boarders paid US$572. The current school fees for 2021 at Ellis Robins are not available.
