Anderson Adventist High School is a mission boarding school run by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The mixed school is located in the urban settings of Gweru, the Midlands capital. It's one of the best performing Adventist Boarding Schools in Zimbabwe.

The school was founded in 1950 by the worldwide Seventh-day Adventist Church. Anderson Adventist High School is a multicultural, internationally renowned boarding school where boys and girls receive education of the heart, hand and head.
The school is also accredited with the Accrediting Association of Seventh-day Adventist Schools, Colleges and Universities. It is also a sister school to Anderson Adventist primary school.
Based on the underlining credo, “Victoria Fide”, which is Latin for “Victory by Faith”, this Adventist Education philosophy aims at training pupils to become useful citizens in this life, as well as help them cherish and embrace the need for all mankind to be ready for the soon return of the Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Anderson is rated as one of the best boarding schools in the country due to its “O” and “A” Level results and as a result, the school has been awarded several accolades for best results and infrastructural developments.
In 2024, Anderson Adventist School achieved a pass rate of 98% for O-Level examinations and 96% for A-Level examinations. These outstanding results placed the school among the top performers in Zimbabwe, reflecting its commitment to academic excellence and quality education.
Looking back at the 2020 rankings, Anderson Adventist continued to demonstrate strong academic results. For O-Level examinations in 2020, the school achieved a pass rate of 97.1%, placing it among the top schools in the country.

This consistent performance highlights the school's commitment to maintaining high educational standards. The pass rates for A-Level examinations were equally commendable, although specific percentages were not detailed, the school's reputation for excellence remained evident.
In earlier years, such as 2017 and 2015, Anderson Adventist maintained its status as a leading academic institution.

Anderson Adventist High School Zimbabwe 2025 Fees
Anderson Adventist charges $1650 per term for boarders and $1250 for day students.
Anderson High School boarding fees are payable in full before the first day of term. Learners will need a clearance slip (issued at the time of payment) to gain entry to class or to the boarding at the beginning of each term.

The school has an enrolment of about 400 pupils and 40 teachers. High aptitude is a requirement for applying at Anderson High School. All prospective students are given an aptitude exam as part of the enrollment process.

Form One Enrollment at Anderson Adventist High School
Anderson High School application for form 1 enrolment is done through the Ministry of Education’s EMAP platform: this is usually available after publication of the Grade 7 results.
No applications are accepted directly at the school. Once a place has been offered through EMAP, a registration pack will be sent out detailing all the required procedures and documentation. Prospective boarding learners require a recommendation from their previous school.

Form Two & Three Enrollment At Anderson Adventist High School
Apply in writing to the school head. If accepted, and after undergoing an aptitude test in Mathematics and English Language, the child will be required to produce certified copies of the latest school report, birth certificate and a passport size photograph.
Form Five (Lower 6th) Enrollment At Anderson Adventist High School
Apply at the school. You should have A's in all subjects sat for.

Boarding Facilities At Anderson High
The school offers boarding facilities to both boys and girls from form 1 up to U6. It also offers laundry for uniform facilities. There are about 350 boarders at Anderson Adventist High.

The School has 2 classes per stream from form 1 up to Form 4. ‘A’ Level has an Arts, Commercials and Science Classes. There are special rooms in the following subject areas:

IT & Computer Facilities At Anderson High

The school is an accredited ICDL Centre. It offers – ICDL and Computer Studies and the Internet to students. It is mandatory for every student to do ICDL from form 1 to 3.
Anderson high is also one of the leading schools in the use of E-Learning facilities with every student from form one to form six using an iPad as the school is moving towards being an Apple School since 2019.
The school started with Intel Tablets and switched onto ZTE tablets and both proved to lack adequate repair back and could be abused on the internet.
Every classroom has a whiteboard and mounted overhead projector. and the school has a powerful internet with monitoring systems for students who may stray to forbidden sites you can be sure that your child will get the IT education she needs to fit seamlessly into the modern workplace.
Library Media Center At Anderson High
The well-stocked library opens from Monday to Thursday during the term and also opens on Fridays during the holiday lessons. The library is there to help our children dig deeper into the minds of great thinkers as they prepare for this world and the world to come.
This will be achieved through user instruction and education, information literacy as well as the provision of electronic services which include DVDs, videos and Internet searches. The library also provides a wide range of books, periodicals and encyclopedias.

Clubs At Anderson Secondary
A wide range of clubs are offered at the school and these include: Interact, LEO, Debate and Public Speaking, Art, Drama, Electronics and Science, Brass Band, Busy Hands, First Aid French, Girl Child Network, Jazz, Photography, Bible, Quiz, Young Farmers.
