Anderson Adventist Primary is a tight-knit community of hard-working, hard-playing, success-oriented individuals who work together to bring about the academic and personal success of all learners.
The school was established in 1950 and currently has around 150 learners and 11 staff members.
Anderson Primary School is determined to offer a faith-based Primary education that does not compromise international standards.
Pupils of different races, ethnic groups, religions and beliefs from grade zero to the seventh grade are invited to befriend their teachers in the excitement of discovery.
Anderson Adventist Primary school has one class per stream from ECD to grade seven and as such it offers very few places.
The prospective parent must download and fill in the Application form here. After filling in you then physically submit the form at the school.
A non-refundable application fee of $20 is required. This should be paid to the school and proof of payment attached together with the application form.
Attach to the form the following:
- Copy of Applicant’s Birth Certificate
- Copy of Report /Transcript (from the previous school)
- ID size photo.
When the application has been approved the school will contact you usually within one week of application. If a place is offered, the child’s admission/ enrolment must be confirmed within 10 days of the date of the offer. If within ten days, admission is not confirmed, the child’s place is offered to another candidate.

The school was charging $23 620.00 for day and ECD scholars and $50 495.00 for boarding scholars in 2020.

The four walls of the classroom have been extended beyond the boundaries of the Anderson Premises. The learners can continue to learn anywhere in the world by utilizing the google classroom platform.
These platforms also help the sick learner to continue learning even away from the school premises. Each learner should have a Gmail account to be able to join the classroom.
The teacher is able to send assignments, quiz, material, video links to all the learners in the class. A learner is able to access work through this platform, ask for help from others in the class and submit assignments to the teacher.
Anderson Adventist Primary School is committed to using educational technology to improve further the learning experiences and achievements of all our learners.
The school approves the use of an authorised Apple iPad in a manner consistent with the established learning and teaching objectives of Anderson and it recognises and encourages the use of the iPad at school and at home to promote remote learning
Anderson Adventist Primary boarding facilities offer learners outside of Gweru the opportunity to attend the school while providing a positive platform for development through the early childhood years within a secure and structured environment.
The school has deans and their main priority is the parental role of grooming the spiritual, social, physical appearance.
The deans are qualified personnel with children at heart, and their role is to build character is the cornerstone of the boarding facility.
Their aim is to groom a loving and a loveable Christian that will respect God and fellow mankind.
Boarders are homed according to character and personality traits.
Our trained and professional deans make an assessment of each child and strategically allocate a roommate with complimentary character and personality traits.
