The Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (Zimsec) has released the 2021 exam timetables for O' and A' Level.
According to the timetable, the O' Level exams will commence on Monday 22 November 2021 with the practical subjects. The rest of the subjects will then start on Wednesday 1 December with Maths paper one and Commerce.
There will be a Christmas break from 17 December to 3 January.
The last two exams will be written on 31 January 2022. You can download the O-Level timetable here.
The A' Level exams will start with the languages on 29 November 2021. There will also be a break from 17 November to 3 January. The final exams will be written on 24 January 2022. You can download the A-Level timetable here.
The grade seven exams will start on 29 November and finish on 10 December 2021. You can download the grade seven timetable here.
The students will have to work extra hard to pass these exams given the fact that the last two educational years have been heavily disrupted by Co-Vid19-induced lockdowns. Teachers had to be innovative and some resorted to WhatsApp learning.
One local student even went further and developed a WhatsApp bot that disseminates free educational resources.
