Midlands Christian School (MCS)
Midlands Christian School is an independent junior school that is part of the Midlands Christian Group Of Schools. The group also includes Midlands Christian College a high school, and Treasure Trove Gweru, a nursery school.
Evangelical Christian principles provide the basis upon which the school operates. The school is committed to excellence in education as it nurtures children to reach their God-given potential in Christ.
MCS offers both Zimsec and Cambridge syllabi.

The school enrols children from a variety of backgrounds. Admission of pupils happens throughout the year, as long as places are available. To apply download and fill in this form You must then submit the form to the school.

Midlands Christian School Fees
Current 2021 fees for Midlands Christian School are not available. However, the last available school fees charged by the school are for 2018.
The fees were US$ 2 907 and US$1 270 for boarding and day schools respectively. This should give you an indication of the current levels.

The school's colours are grey and royal blue.
Summer Uniform at Midlands Christian School
Boys
Grey shorts, short sleeve sky blue shirt, grey long socks, black lace-up shoes, garters, shoe cloth and royal blue hat with badge.
Girls
Royal blue gingham dress, white ankle socks, white/royal blue hair ribbons, royal blue hat with badge, black lace-up shoes or girls’ buckle shoes and a shoe cloth.

Midlands Christian School Boarding Facilities
The school offers full boarding facilities for both boys and girls. A total of 40 children can be accommodated in the school's hostels.
The aim of the boarding facilities is to provide a home away from home environment for the children.
Children in Hostel attend church every Sunday.
Entertainment in the form of outdoor games, excursions, board games, table-tennis, reading books and DSTV is available for children over weekends
Laundry is taken care of by laundry staff and meals are prepared by the competent kitchen staff.

Extra-Curricular Activities
The school aims to Achieve Sporting Excellence, Passion and Competence on the Sports Field whilst promoting Christian Values such as Tolerance, Friendship, FairPlay, Love and Respect for all.

Clubs are voluntary, however, every child is encouraged to participate in at least one.
Sports Tours
Midlands Christian School has had the privilege of going on two significant Sports Tours quite recently. In 2011 MCS took two Rugby teams to the Dubai College Rugby Festival in The Capital City of the United Arab Emirates, Dubai.
In April 2012, our senior Girls Hockey Team went on Tour to Durban where they played 3 games with similar strength schools in the Republic of South Africa.
