Curriculum At Goldridge College

In Form 1, students are introduced to 11 subjects, including the compulsory ICDL, English, Geography, History, Mathematics, Science, and Accounting, as well as the practical subjects of Fashion and Fabrics, Design and Technology, and Food and Nutrition.

At the end of Form 2, students engage in a subject selection process involving parents, students, and teachers.

In Forms 3 and 4, students continue their education with four compulsory subjects: English Language, Geography, Mathematics, and one of Business Studies or Commerce. Students then choose three additional subjects from a selection of four options, which include either Fashion and Textiles or Design and Technology, ICT or Food and Nutrition, English Literature or Shona, and History or Accounting.

Finally, students select either Chemistry, Physics, and Biology or Physical Science and Biology.

For A-level studies, a wide range of subject combinations are available for students. They are required to select at least three subjects from each of the following blocks

Humanities: History, Literature in English, Business & Divinity, or Geography

Commercial: Mathematics, Accounting, Business Economics, or Geography

Sciences: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry,& Biology

  • Extra silver buttons for their blazers
  • A sewing kit, including black and white thread and needles
  • Medical aid cards and/or cash for medical emergencies
  • Navy blue bed covers
  • Basic stationery supplies such as calculators, rulers, mathematical sets, rubbers, pencils, and ballpoint pens
