Msengezi High School

Msengezi High School is a government mixed boarding school in Mashonaland West. The school distinguished itself in music in the late ’90s and early 2000’s. The school has an enrolment of about 700 students with around 600 being boarders.

In sports, the school has won a number of national awards and came second in the 2011 Nash National Chess Championship Under-14 boys and girls’ competitions.

Msengezi High School Pass Rate

The school does well in academics. In 2013 the school had a 57.34% pass rate at O-Level. Msengezi was also one of the best A-Level schools in Zimbabwe in 2014 with an impressive 95% pass rate.

The school was again in the top 100 best schools in Zimbabwe in 2015. This time it was in the O-Level category with a pass rate of 65.49%.

In 2019 the school attained a 57.34% pass rate at O-Level and it was placed 90 out of 100.

Msengezi High School Fees

The school has a number of projects that facilitate development such as piggery, poultry, dairy and vegetable and market gardening. This has helped the school to be an affordable boarding institution.

In December 2019 the school increased its fees to ZWL2 500 which was equivalent to about US$130. The current 2021 fees for the school are not available. If you know them let us know in the comments below or email learn@openclass.co.zw.

There are no Msengezi High School application forms for form one places 2021. The enrolment is done through the Ministry of Education’s EMAP platform.
