Kwekwe Polytechnic is now accepting applications for its August 2024 intake for National Certificate programs and National Diploma. The HEXCO courses available span several departments:

Engineering Department:

• Automotive Engineering: Motor Vehicle Mechanics, Automobile Electrics & Electronics, Motor Vehicle Body Repair, Precision Machining.
• Civil & Construction: Building Technology, Plumbing & Drain Laying, Quantity Surveying.
• Electrical Engineering: Electrical Power, Instrumentation & Control, Electronic Communication Systems, Computer Systems.
• Mechanical Engineering: Diesel Plant Fitting, Fabrication, Refrigeration, Machine Shop.

Applied Sciences Department:

• Physical Sciences: Metallurgical Assaying, Industrial Metallurgy, Laboratory Technology.
• Biological Sciences: Food Science.
• ICT: Information Technology.

Commerce Department:

• Management Studies: Office Management, Human Resources Management, Sales & Marketing Management, Purchasing & Supply Management, Records Management & Information Science.
• Finance: Accountancy.

Adult and Continuing Education:

Minimum Entry Qualifications For Kwekwe Poly August 2024 Intake

Engineering & Applied Sciences:

• 5 Ordinary Level passes including Mathematics, English Language, and a Science subject.

Commerce Division:

• 5 Ordinary Level passes including English Language for management courses.
• 5 Ordinary Level passes including Mathematics and English Language for Accountancy.

Adult and Continuing Education:

• 5 Ordinary Level passes including English Language and a Science subject for Cosmetology.
• 5 Ordinary Level passes including English Language for Fashion, Clothing & Textile, Tourism & Hospitality, and Creative Art & Designing.

Application Process For The Kwekwe Poly 2024 Intake

• In-Person Application Dates:
  • Engineering Division: Monday, 3 June 2024.
  • Applied Sciences, Commerce, and Adult & Continuing Education Divisions: Tuesday, 4 June 2024.
• Requirements:
  • An internet-compatible device.
  • Original and soft copies of birth certificate, National ID, and academic certificates.
  • Non-refundable handling fee of USD$10, paid at the bank before application submission.

• Higher National Diploma: The total fee is USD$335.00, comprising $85.00 to CBZ Bank and $250.00 to ZB Bank.
  
• Bachelor of Technology: The total fee is USD$485.00, with $85.00 to CBZ Bank and $400.00 to ZB Bank.
  
• Small to Medium Enterprise (Full-Time): The fee is USD$135.00, payable entirely to CBZ Bank.
