Entry Requirements for Gweru Polytechnic Intake
To apply for any of the above courses, applicants must meet the following entry requirements:
- National Certificate (NC): 5 O-Level passes, including English Language
- For Business Studies and Information Technology, O-level Mathematics is required
- For the Engineering discipline, a Science Subject and Mathematics at O-level are required. Relevant NFC subjects will be considered.
- National Diploma (ND): A relevant NC qualification.
- Higher National Diploma (HND): A relevant ND qualification.
- For ND in Technical and Vocational Education (HEXCO) applicants must possess ND or equivalent, NC plus Class One journeyman Certificate for Engineering in the area of specialization
How to Apply at Gweru Polytechnic
There are two ways to apply at Gweru Polytechnic. This Includes:

- Complete the form on the website and attach certified copies of academic certificates, national ID, and birth certificate.
- Pay the application fee and attach proof of payment.
Manual applications
- Download the application form from the Gweru Polytechnic website (www.gwerupoly.ac.zw) or collect it from campus.
- Fill in the details.
Submit the completed application form, along with the required documents, to Gweru Polytechnic's admissions office.
The application fee is $15 and non-refundable.
