To be considered for enrolment into Lower 6 at Roosevelt Girls’ High School for the year 2025, candidates must meet the following prerequisites:
- Academic Achievement: A minimum of 5 As at O-Level is required, including an A or B in the subject(s) chosen for study.
- Financial Clearance: Applicants must have cleared all outstanding school fees.
- Recommendation Letter: A letter from the previous school is mandatory for applicants who are not from Roosevelt.

Boarding Life & Diet at Roosevelt High
The school accommodates 220 students in its boarding facilities. There are two hostels, Delano and Eleanor. Delano accommodates Forms One, Two and Three while Eleanor accommodates Forms Four, Five and Six
The boarding facilities at the school are commendable and adequate. There is ongoing renovation of a hostel that was damaged by fire several years ago.
The diet is excellent, with beans being served only on Sundays. The school maintains a vegetable garden and a greenhouse to supply fresh food for the students.
Limited tuck is allowed to complement the diet. If you bring more than the required items you will be asked to return with them.
Students bathe with hot water. The school has exeat weekends on the first Friday of each month, with students returning on Sunday.
Sports & Clubs at Roosevelt
The school provides a range of activities including netball, football, chess, volleyball, basketball, softball, public speaking, debate, mbira, handball, cricket, hockey, tennis and rugby. The students have earned trophies and various awards in these areas.

Boarding side also good for the young ladies the head is strict but firm diet is excellent they only eat beans on a Sunday.
They bath with hot water they also renovating a hostel that burnt down some years ago. They have exeat weekends every first Friday of the month back to school on Sunday.

First preference should be given to internal O level students who passed and want to go for form 5 rather than raising the bar to high thereby discriminating potential students to further up their education at a school they had known and contributed for its growth for four solid years
