Nyazura Adventist High School History & Background
Nyazura Adventist High School is a mission boarding school run by the East Zimbabwe Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The mixed school is located in Makoni District of Manicaland province on the 203 km peg along the Harare-Mutare highway.
Nyazura mission was founded in 1910 and was re-established in 1966 & 1979. The school was initially called Nyazura Secondary School and it changed its name to Nyazura Adventist High School in 1994 when it was granted A-Level status.

Nyazura Adventist High School Fees
The current Nyazura Adventist high school fees for 2020-2021 are $420 for boarding & $140 for day scholars.
School fees for Nyazura high school students are payable in full before the first day of term. Learners will need a clearance slip (issued at the time of payment) to gain entry to class or to the Nyazura high boarding at the beginning of each term.
Nyazura Adventist High School Enrollment & Entry Requirements
The school had an enrollment of 775 students and 40 teachers as of 2017. 686 of these were boarding students.
How To Apply To Nyazura Adventist High School
The school enrols pupils in forms 1,2,3 & 5.
Form One Enrollment at Nyazura Adventist High School
Form 1 enrolment is done through the Ministry of Education’s EMAP platform: this is usually available after publication of the Grade 7 results. Currently, the school is open for applications and you can apply online for a form one 2020 place here.
No applications are accepted directly at the school and there are no forms to download to apply to Nyazura Adventist High School
Once a place has been offered through EMAP, a registration pack will be sent out detailing all the required procedures and documentation. Prospective boarding learners require a recommendation from their previous school.
Form Two & Three Enrollment At Nyazura Adventist High School
Only students with 5-6 units at grade seven are allowed to apply in writing to the waiting list. If accepted, and after undergoing an aptitude test in Mathematics and English Language, the child will be required to produce certified copies of the latest school report, birth certificate and a passport size photograph.

Track Suit = USD35.00, T-shirts = USD6.00, Blazer = USD35.00 and jersey = USD30.00.
We want all students to put on blazers for assemblies and special events. You may buy as many as you want and avoid children wearing all sorts of T-Shirts that are not required by the School.

Boarding Facilities At Nyazura Adventist High
Nyazura High School offers boarding facilities to both boys and girls from form 1 up to U6. It has no laundry facilities, students do their own laundry. The school's diet is strictly vegetarian.
Learning Facilities At Nyazura High
The school has three classes per stream from Form 1 up to Form 4. ‘A’ Level has an Arts, Commercials and Science Class.
There are special rooms in the following subject areas:

IT & Computer Facilities At Nyazura High
Nyazura High School is an accredited ICDL Centre. It offers – ICDL and Computer Studies and Internet Service.
The school is trying very hard to keep abreast with the current e-Learning trends. The school also introduced an e-learning platform in the wake of the Coronavirus-induced lockdown so that students could learn from home.
They are currently using software for the e-library which is user friendly, educative and students won`t visit non-educational sites.

The school has a number of clubs which are Interact, Environmental Club, Toastmasters, Leo, Let, Tri-masters, Innovative Creation, Paramount Investments, Pilgrims, Gist, Junior Parliament and Young People We Care.
