Mazowe Boys High School
Mazowe Boys High School is a Salvation Army-sponsored boarding school located along the old Mazowe Road. The school was officially opened in 1959. Students that attend the school are seeded in Christian values in accordance with Salvation Army principles.
The school has an enrolment of about 700 students and a staff complement of 35. The school has a swimming pool, a pavilion and a computer lab. The school is an ICDL centre offering certification to students.
The school was awarded the secretary's bell in 2016 for being the most developing school in Mashonaland Central Province at the merit awards.
Parents can visit their children every first Saturday of the month during the term. Consultation is held for form 2's, 4's and 6's once a year.
The school is very strict on bullying and children are taught to report any form of bullying during induction. The school charges a mission fund that is channelled towards teacher incentives and this has resulted in teachers not going to strike.
Mazowe Boys High School Pass Rate
The school is a centre of academic excellence. In 2013 the school attained a 78.33% pass rate at O-Level.
The 2014 A-Level candidates at the school attained a perfect 100% pass rate in 2014.
Mazowe Boys High, in the November 2015 examinations recorded a 96,8 per cent pass rate at Advanced Level and 88 per cent pass rate for Ordinary Levels.
In 2016 Mazowe High attained a 92,7 per cent pass rate, which was the best pass rate in Mashonaland Central.
In 2017 the school was ranked as 27th best A-Level center in Zimbabwe. A pass rate of 78.33% was attained at O-Level in 2019.

There are no Mazowe Boys High School application forms for form one places 2021. The enrolment is done through the Ministry of Education’s EMAP platform.
