Mandedza High School is located in Huni Village, Ward 2, in the Seke District of Mashonaland East Province, Zimbabwe.

It is a government-registered boarding school under the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (MoPSE), offering both Ordinary Level (O-Level) and Advanced Level (A-Level) education​.

The highest-performing candidate attained 20 points, while 16 candidates achieved 15 points. Several learners scored 14 and 13 points, and 53 candidates obtained 10 points and above, reflecting consistent academic excellence across subjects.

At Ordinary Level, performance improved significantly, with the pass rate rising by approximately 5 percentage points, from 88.3% in 2024 to 92.5% in 2025. The top candidate achieved 10 A grades and 1 B, while the number of learners obtaining 8 A grades and above increased from 3 in 2024 to 12 in 2025.

Several subjects recorded 100% pass rates, including:
Chemistry, Pure Mathematics, Biology, Computer Science, Food Technology & Design, Metal Technology & Design, Textile Technology & Design, and Physical Education.

In 2023, Mandedza High School achieved an impressive O-Level pass rate of 79.1%, reflecting the school’s continued dedication to academic excellence. This placed the school in a competitive position among Zimbabwe’s top-ranking secondary institutions.

Mandedza High School Fees Structure

Mandedza High School fees are as follows:

• Boarders: USD 670
• Day Scholars: USD 240

The approved fees are inclusive of Science and Practical Subjects Levies. However, this excludes Form 3C & 4C students and A-Level Science students.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to make payments on time to ensure a smooth academic year for their children.

In addition, Mandedza High School charges an initial fee of $960 for boys and $980 for girls when they begin Form One or Lower Six.

When starting, you need to budget around $1300 to cover all costs.

Mandedza High School Uniforms

The uniform package offered by the school includes essential items such as a bedspread, pillowcase, bomber jacket, tracksuit, and a textbook combo, but does not include shoes.

Mandedza High School Application Process

There are no Mandedza High School application forms for Form One Places 2027. The enrolment is done through the Ministry of Education’s EMAP platform. 

This is usually available after the publication of the Grade 7 results. No applications are accepted directly at the school for the 2027 intake.

To gain admission into Lower Six, students must apply physically at the school after their O-Level results have been released.

Admission to this school is highly competitive; therefore, strong academic results and early application are essential. For 2026, the cutoff is 5 A’s.

2. Testimonial letter from previous school in a sealed envelope

Diet and Meals at Mandeza High

Students at Mandedza High School receive a structured meal plan.

Breakfast typically includes bread with margarine or jam from Monday to Friday, bread with a boiled egg on Saturday, and bread with polony on Sunday.

For lunch, students are served rice with sausage on Monday, sadza with beef on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, rice with beef on Wednesday, rice with mince on Friday, and rice with chicken on Sunday.

Supper includes sadza with vegetables and mince on Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday, sadza with beans on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, and sadza with beef on Friday.

Students are given fruits or yoghurt on weekends.

Students are also allowed to bring tuck to complement their diet. Parents are allowed one visit per term, and they can bring more tuck.
