Harare Polytechnic August 2026 Intake Entry Requirements
To apply for any course at Harare Polytechnic, applicants must meet the following minimum entry requirements:
- 5 O-Levels including English, Mathematics, and Science for all engineering, science, and ICT courses.
- To qualify for ABMA Courses, applicants must have at least 5 O-levels, including Maths and English Language, with a grade of C or better, and one year of experience in a related field (Include proof of employment).
- To qualify for a National Diploma, applicants must have a full award at the National Certificate level.
- To be eligible for a Higher National Diploma, applicants must have a full prize at the National Diploma level.

Application Process
Required Documents: Certified copies of your birth certificate, national identity card, O-level certificates, and other relevant qualifications.

How to Apply Online At Harare Polytechnic
The first stage is to create your account by entering your basic personal details, i.e., (surname, national ID, and student registration number). Once the base details are verified, the Portal system will then allow you to create your online Student Portal account by entering your preferred password.
To begin your application process, please follow the steps below carefully:
Step 1: Access the Application Portal
Visit: https://app.hrepoly.ac.zw
Step 2: Create an Account
- Click STUDENT REGISTRATION.
- Fill in the following details:
- First Name
- Surname
- Email Address
- Password and Confirm Password
- Click Submit.
Important: Do not click Login unless you have already created an account.
Step 3: Verify Your Email
- Open your email inbox and locate the message titled “VERIFY EMAIL”.
- Click the verification link provided in the email.

Step 4: Pay the Application Fee
- After verifying your email, you’ll be redirected to the payment page.
- Pay the $20 application fee.
- Once payment is complete, click “Back to Merchant” to proceed.
Step 5: Complete Your Application
- Fill in your personal and academic information.
- Enter your subjects, grades, and the year/month of each sitting.
- Click Submit to finalize your application.
Step 6: Applying for Multiple Courses?
- You can apply for up to two additional courses.
- Go to the “New Application” section under My Applications.
- No additional payment is required.
