Bernard Mizeki College is a private, boys boarding school located in Marondera. The school was founded by a group of prominent individuals of both European and African descent.
It was founded in 1958 in memory of Bernard Mizeki, an African martyr who died in the Marondera area. Bernard Mizeki is affiliated to the Anglican Church but is an independent school, not a diocesan.
The school has an enrolment of about 450 boys from form one to six and it is an International Computer Driving Licence (ICDL) centre.

Form 1 Application Process 2025
To apply for Form 1 (Grade 8) at Bernard Mizeki College, prospective students typically follow a straightforward application process.
Students must be around 12-13 years of age and have shown strong academic performance during their primary school years, particularly in subjects like English, Mathematics, and Science.
The application process involves several steps:
- Entrance Examination: Applicants are required to sit for an entrance exam that tests their proficiency in English, Mathematics, and general reasoning.
- Supporting Documents: Submit a completed application form along with a certified copy of the applicant's birth certificate, school reports from Grade 6 (2nd & 3rd term) and Grade 7 (1st term), and passport-sized photographs. Lower Six Application Process
The application for Lower Six (Form 5) at Bernard Mizeki College is geared towards students who have completed their O-Level studies and are looking to continue their education at the A-Level.

Bernard Mizeki College Fees 2025
Bernard Mizeki was intended to appeal to the upper African class and charged fees three to four times higher than ordinary mission schools.
Once your child passes the entrance exam, a non-refundable development levy of $1,000 must be paid to secure their place at the school.
This payment is due by the end of August in your child's Grade 7 year.

The College boasts of a cattle herd of 61, 180 pigs, 1,000 broiler chickens and 500 layers at different stages of growth producing an average of 100 eggs per day. Fish farming and bee-keeping are also practised at the school.
