How to Apply for Admission at Women’s University in Africa
Women’s University in Africa is currently accepting applications for the 2025 academic year. Two application methods are available: Online Application and Physical Application. Below are the details for both application methods.
Online Application:
- Visit the official application link: https://apply.wua.ac.zw/
- Complete the application form and submit the required documents as per the instructions.

Physical Application:
Download the Application Form from the WUA website or obtain it from any campus.
Complete the Form: Fill in all necessary details.
Attach Required Documents:
- Certified copy of Birth Certificate
- Certified copy of National Identity Card
- Certified copies of Academic Certificates
- Motivational Letter (Postgraduate Applications)
- Proof of payment of the application fee
Submit the Documents: Submit the completed application form and documents to the respective campus admissions office.
In addition to online and physicall applications, the university will be hosting On-Site Admissions at Africa Unity Square on the following dates:
- 10th – 14th February
- 17th – 21st February
- 24th – 28th February

Entry Requirements for Women's University
Women’s University in Africa has both general and program-specific entry regulations to ensure that students meet the academic standards required for their chosen field of study.
Undergraduate Programmes:
The minimum entry requirements for undergraduate programs are as follows:
- 5 ‘O' levels, including English Language, or entry through Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL).
- Specific subjects and qualifications will vary according to program specifications.
- 2 ‘A' level passes are considered an added advantage.
Postgraduate Programmes:
The minimum entry requirement for postgraduate programs is a 3rd class degree or higher in a relevant first degree, or any other relevant professional qualification.

International Students:
For international students from non-English speaking countries, proficiency in English is assessed through both an oral and written communication skills test. Students who do not pass the test will be required to enroll in a six-month English Language bridging course. Upon successful completion of the bridging course, students will be eligible to proceed with further studies.
Mathematics Requirement:
For programs requiring Mathematics at ‘O' level, students who do not meet this requirement must enroll in WUA Foundation Mathematics. This course lasts for 8 weeks. Upon successful completion of the Foundation Mathematics course, candidates will be eligible for enrolment in their chosen program of study.
These entry requirements ensure that students are well-prepared for the academic challenges of their chosen program.
