Mkoba Teachers’ College is inviting suitably qualified candidates to apply for the STEM Science Education Degree Programme for the February 2027 Intake. Successful applicants will enrol for the Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Science, Mathematics and Technology Education (BSHSTE).
The programme is offered on a full-time basis over three years and a part-time basis over four years.

DIPLOMA IN PRIMARY EDUCATION
- Early Childhood Development (E.C.D) course or
- Junior Education Course
DIPLOMA IN SECONDARY EDUCATION (STEM)
Subject specialisations are offered in the following combinations:
- Pure Mathematics and Applied Mathematics
- Physics and Chemistry
- Biology and Chemistry
- Agriculture and Geography
Entry Requirements Mkoba Teachers' College 2027 Intake
Applicants for the Diploma in Primary Education
The minimum entry qualifications:
- 5 ‘O' Level passes with a Grade C or better, including English Language, Mathematics, Science and an Indigenous Language.
The minimum entry qualifications for the Diploma in Secondary Education STEM are:
- 5 ‘O' Level passes with a Grade C or better, including English Language, Mathematics and a pass in any one of the following Science subjects:
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology
- Physical Science
- Combined Science
- Geography
- Agriculture
- Students who want to major in Geography and Agriculture should have a pass in Combined Science.
- A pass in ‘A' Level in a Science Subject is an added advantage.
