Gloag High School is a mixed school owned by the Uniting Presbyterian Church and offers both boarding and day school options. It was opened in 1964 and it is named after Mr Gloag Whitehead, a Scot who donated his farn to the church.

The school is located in Bubi district in Matabeleland North. It is 82 km North East of Bulawayo. One drives 68 km along the Bulawayo – Harare road, turns left onto a dust road and drives 14km to the school. There is a sign post along the Harare – Bulawayo road that shows the direction of the school. It is situated in the heart of a commercial farming area.

It has an enrollment of around 500 students with a staff complement of around 30.

Gloag High School has a strong emphasis on practical subjects, rooted in the wishes of Gloag Whitehead, the farm's donor to the Presbyterian Church.

His will stipulated that the school should teach agricultural skills to empower the local black community.
