Ministry of Health & Child Care Dental Therapy Vacancies 2026

The Ministry of Health and Child Care is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to train as Trainee Dental Therapists at the School of Dental Therapy and Technology. Successful applicants will undertake a three-year Diploma in Dental Therapy beginning in September 2026.

The programme is designed to equip students with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required to provide preventive and basic oral healthcare services in Zimbabwe.

Entry Requirements for the School of Dental Therapy and Technology 2026 Intake

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• At least 5 ‘O' Level passes at Grade C or better in one sitting.
• The passes must include Mathematics, Science, and English Language, plus any other two subjects.
• Applicants must be between 18 and 30 years of age.
• A' Level Science subjects will be an added advantage.
• Certified copies of academic certificates, National ID and Birth Certificate must be attached to the application.
