Gwanda State University 2025 – Admission Requirements
Students interested in applying for the Gwanda University 2025 Intake must have relevant qualifications from either the Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (ZIMSEC), Cambridge School Certificate, or an equivalent examining body.
Applicants should have at least two GCE ‘A’ Level passes in relevant subjects and a minimum of five ‘O’ Level passes, including English Language and Mathematics at Grade C or better.

- 5 O' Level passes at Grade C or better, including English Language and Mathematics.
- At least 2 A' Level passes in Biology or Animal Science/Agriculture and any of the following: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Food Science, Geography.
- OR a National Diploma in Animal Production and Health/Agriculture or equivalent.

Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree in Horticulture and Crop Production (NHC)
Entry Requirements:
- 5 O' Level passes at Grade C or better, including English Language and Mathematics.

Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) Degree in Metallurgical Engineering (EMR)
Entry Requirements:
- 5 O' Level passes at Grade C or better, including English Language and Mathematics.

- OR a National Diploma in Metallurgy or equivalent.

Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) Degree in Accounting (BAC)
Entry Requirements:
- 5 O' Level passes at Grade C or better, including English Language and Mathematics.
- At least 2 A' Level passes in Accounting and any of the following: Economics, Business Studies, Mathematics, Statistics.
- OR a National Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.

Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) Degree in Marketing (BMA)

- At least 2 A' Level passes in Economics, Management of Business, Business Studies, Marketing, Accounting, Mathematics or other commercial subjects.
