DC Primary School Admission Requirements
To secure a place at Dominican Convent Primary School. Prospective parents must obtain the application form from the School's website.
Application forms for ECD and Grade One intake are made available from approximately 19 January to 31 March at the school office. These forms are expected to be completed and submitted to the school on or before 31 March. An online application may also be completed through the schoolβs website.
Children are interviewed the year before the one in which they are expected to begin school. Preference is given to Catholic applicants and to siblings of current students who have maintained a good record.
Assessments for ECD and Grade One applicants are conducted in June of the same year.
Forms for other grades are also issued during this period, and assessments are likewise carried out in June.
Pupils who successfully pass the entrance examination are placed on a waiting list, and admission is granted only if a vacancy becomes available.
