HCCL Holdings Apprenticeship Intake 2027

Hwange Colliery Company Limited (HCCL Holdings) is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for its 2027 Apprenticeship Intake.

The apprenticeship programme offers a four-year apprenticeship training programme in a range of technical trades.

Available Apprenticeship Trades

Applicants can apply for training in the following trades:

• Auto-Electrical
• Carpentry & Joinery
• Diesel Plant Fitting
• Electrical Power
• Fitting & Turning
• Instrumentation & Control
• Motor Mechanics
• Plater Welding
• Refrigeration Mechanic
• Rigging
• Panel Beating
• Plumbing
• Building
• Millwrights

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for the apprenticeship programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Have 5 “O” Level passes, including English Language, Mathematics and Science, plus any other two subjects, with grades of C or better, attained in two sittings.
• Have a clearance letter from the Registrar of Apprenticeship and Skilled Manpower.
• Applicants wishing to train in Automotive trades must have a valid provisional or full driver’s licence.
• Applicants for Instrumentation & Control and Electrical Power must have at least B grades in Mathematics and Science at “O” Level.
• Be aged between 16 and 25 years as at 1 January 2027.
