Mutare Polytechnic is inviting applications for its Technical Advancement Programme (TAP) Short Courses for the August 2026 intake. The programmes are designed to provide practical and professional skills for individuals working in the construction and engineering sectors.
Certificate Programmes
The following professional certificate courses are available:
- Certificate in Introduction to Structural Engineering
- Certificate in Geotechnical Engineering
- Certificate in Construction Project Management
- Certificate in Mathematics for Engineers
- Certificate in Environmental Engineering and Water Resources
- Certificate in Construction Engineering (for students who complete all certificate modules)
Diploma Programmes
The following professional diploma courses are available:
- Diploma in Introduction to Structural Engineering
- Diploma in Geotechnical Engineering
- Diploma in Construction Project Management
- Diploma in Mathematics for Engineers
- Diploma in Environmental Engineering and Water Resources
- Diploma in Construction Engineering (for students who complete all diploma modules)
Course Duration
The course durations are as follows:
- 6 months (August Intake: August to January)
- Optional 6 months industrial attachment upon completion
The courses are conducted via Online Block Release Evening Classes

How to Apply:
Registration forms can be obtained from the main gate, College Reception, the Education and Enterprise Department, or the institution's WhatsApp enrolment group.
Applicants should attach a copy of their National ID or Birth Certificate.
Additional Information
- Certificates and diplomas will be awarded during the Mutare Polytechnic Graduation Ceremony.
- Graduation regalia fee: US$50 (optional).
