The Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (Zimsec) has announced that the 2025 Advanced Level results are out.

Results can be accessed from the Zimsec electronic portal from 1600 hours, via https://results.zimsec.co.zw.

A total of 36,635 candidates sat for the November 2025 A-Level examinations. Of these, 36,282 candidates wrote two or more subjects. A total of 34,740 candidates obtained Grade E or better in two or more subjects, translating to a national pass rate of 95.75%.

This is an increase of 1.17% from 2024, when the pass rate was 94.58%.

Checking your 2025 ZIMSEC Advanced Level results can be done quickly and conveniently through the official ZIMSEC online results platform. This service allows candidates, parents, and guardians to view examination results without the need to visit schools immediately.

This guide provides clear, easy-to-follow steps on how to access A-Level results online, ensuring you are prepared once the results are released. By following the outlined process, users can check results securely using the official ZIMSEC system from any location with internet access.

Please be aware that the online results portal is only available for a limited time, beginning Friday, 9 January 2026. After approximately five days, online access will be disabled, and candidates will be required to obtain their results directly from their respective schools.

Additionally, users may experience temporary access issues when attempting to open the ZIMSEC website via www.zimsec.co.zw, including error messages caused by high traffic or system delays.

1. Visit the ZIMSEC website on www.zimsec.co.zw, and you will be taken to the home page.
2. Click on View Results, and you will be taken to a page that shows all the country’s 10 regions [R1-Harare, R2-Manicaland, R3-Mashonaland East, R4-Matabeleland North, R5-Midlands, R6-Masvingo, R7-Mashonaland Central, R8-Mashonaland West, R9-Matabeleland South, R10-Bulawayo].

3. Select the region where your school is located and proceed to the instructions for registration.

How To Create An Account To View The Zimsec 2025 A Level Results Online

Click on ”Register as a new user” and you will see the consent page like the one below.

The purpose of this screen is to make sure that you have the authority to view the results. Enter your details and those of the child in the respective spaces. Click ”I Accept” when you are done.

You will then be taken to the account creation page like the one below.

To register, you will need your centre number, candidate number, and date of birth to create an account.

When entering the name of the candidate, start with the Surname, followed by the First Name, and finally the initial for the second name, if there is one.

If you start with the first name followed by the surname, you may get an error message saying “Candidate details not found.”

You will also need to create a username and password for your account. Please remember these, as you will need them to view grade seven results online.

When you are done entering all the details, click “Register.

After registering and creating your new account, you will be redirected to the home page.

Log in using the username and password you chose when you created the account using the steps above.

After you enter the username and password, the ZIMSEC O-level online results portal will be opened. Click on ‘View Results, ‘ and the results will be displayed
