Admissions Requirements for Solusi University September 2025 Enrolment
For undergraduate honours degree programs, applicants must have at least two points in two relevant ‘A’ level subjects with a minimum grade of ‘E’. Additionally, they should have five ‘O’ level passes, including English, with a C grade or better.
Applicants with a Higher National Diploma (HND), National Diploma (ND), or National Certificate (NC) may also be considered for admission, with priority given to the best candidates.
For postgraduate diploma programs, applicants must hold an acceptable general or honours degree.
For master's degree programs, candidates must have an honours degree with a class 2.2 or a general degree with a class 2.1.
Special Entry
Applicants who do not have ‘A’ Levels but hold at least five ‘O’ Levels may still be admitted under the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) framework.
Eligible qualifications include a National Certificate (NC), National Diploma (ND), and Higher National Diploma (HND), as recognized by the Zimbabwe National Qualification Framework (ZNQF).
Each faculty and department will assess these qualifications to determine the appropriate entry level for each applicant.
Mature Entry
Mature applicants for undergraduate honours degrees must have five ‘O’ Level passes, including English, and at least four years of relevant work experience, which must be approved by the Faculty Board.
For postgraduate diploma programs, applicants must have an acceptable undergraduate diploma and at least five years of relevant work experience, subject to faculty approval.
For master’s and MPhil programs, applicants must possess a relevant postgraduate diploma and relevant work experience, approved by the Faculty Board.

2025 Fee Structure (USD)
For the Regular Intake, most undergraduate degree programmes cost USD 990 per semester. The Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) is pegged at $765, while Master’s Degree programmes cost $1,200.
For professional programmes:
- The Bachelor of Education is $560
- Nursing is $1,200
- The Diploma in Chaplaincy is $405
- The ECD Diploma is $465
- Certificate programmes cost $270
PhD students pay $2,400 annually, and Master of Philosophy students pay $1,398 per year.
If you're applying for the Bimester Intake, most undergraduate programmes range between $540 – $670, while Block Intake fees are slightly higher, ranging between $605 – $945, depending on the programme.
Other Applicable Fees Include:

- Graduation Fees – $100–$300
- Transcripts – Full ($20), Partial ($15)
- Supplementary or Re-mark Fees – $50
- ECE Exam Fee (per term) – $100

- Rental (Married Quarters) – $400
Meals, SRC, and Medical fees must be paid in full upon arrival. Payment plans are available for those paying 100% USD or local currency at the prevailing rate.
