Madziwa Teachers College is inviting applications for its ECD Para-Professional Training Programme (Intake 9) starting in April 2026. This programme is designed for individuals passionate about Early Childhood Development (ECD) and those seeking practical skills to support, manage, and establish ECD centres.
The training focuses on equipping learners with essential knowledge in child development, teaching methods, and early learning centre management, making it ideal for ECD centre owners, aspiring caregivers, and community educators.
Madziwa Teachers College Intake 9 Course Duration & Structure
The training runs for 6 months and is broken into three intensive phases:
Phase 1 includes face-to-face lectures held over a period equivalent to 3 weeks. These are full days, including weekends, and attendance is compulsory.
Phase 2 is a one-term teaching practice component where students are expected to teach at an ECD centre while engaging in online consultations with college lecturers.
Phase 3 includes another face-to-face session and the graduation ceremony.

Accommodation is available at the school for those not residing in Madziwa. The college does not provide any off-campus accommodation. If one chooses to stay off-campus, they will be responsible for their living arrangements, and the college will not be involved.
