The Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (POTRAZ) has officially opened applications for the 2026 ICT Scholarships Programme, aimed at supporting exceptionally talented but financially disadvantaged students pursuing undergraduate studies in Zimbabwe.

Priority Degree Programmes
The scholarship primarily supports students studying in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields. Priority programmes include:
- Data Science
- Agricultural Engineering
- Computational Mathematics
- Mechatronics Engineering
- Nanotechnology
- Telecommunications Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Financial Engineering
- Emerging ICT-related fields
These programmes are aligned with Zimbabwe’s national development priorities, digital transformation, and technological advancement.
Exceptional Consideration (Non-STEM Programmes)
Students enrolled in non-STEM programmes at state universities may be considered only if their field of study clearly contributes to:
- National development priorities
- Digital transformation
- Technological innovation
Examples include:
- Education (with ICT Integration focus)
- Media & Digital Arts
- Business & Information Systems
- Library & Information Science
POTRAZ ICT Scholarship 2026 Entry Requirements
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be a Zimbabwean national
- Not holding dual citizenship
- Be a First-Year (Part 1.1) student for the February/August 2026 intake with at least 15 points in three STEM A-Level subjects obtained within 12 months before application
OR - Be a continuing student (Part 1.2 to Part 5.1) in February 2026 with an overall Upper Second Class (2.1) or better
- Have an unconditional university acceptance/admission letter (except for funding) for the February/August 2026 semester
- Not be a close relative of any POTRAZ employee
