Gateway Christian Teachers’ College, in partnership with ACSI Africa, is offering a Teacher Certification Programme aimed at equipping educators with a strong Biblical worldview and internationally aligned professional standards.
This initiative supports the vision of equipping 1 million African teachers in a Biblical worldview and integration by 2050.
About the Programme
The Teacher Certification Programme is designed to strengthen both the spiritual and professional development of Christian educators. It combines theory and practical application to ensure teachers are fully equipped for impactful service in Christian education.
Participants will gain:
- A biblically grounded understanding of the vision and practice of Christian education
- Professional and personal growth through a holistic learning and assessment approach, including peer interactions
- A professional teacher certificate based on Global Core Standards, jointly delivered by ACSI Africa and Gateway Christian Teachers’ College

- Philosophy of Education
- Theory and practice of teaching
- Spiritual formation

- USD 265 per student (member schools)
- USD 320 per student (non-member schools)
Christian teachers serving in rural schools are highly encouraged to apply. Scholarships toward tuition are available.
