The Ministry of Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development, through the Department of Agricultural Education, invites applications for the Diploma in Agriculture programme at Chibero Agricultural College, in association with the University of Zimbabwe.
The college was established in 1961 and is focused on providing high-quality education in agricultural science and practice. It equips graduates with practical, theoretical, and entrepreneurial skills. Chibero College emphasizes innovation, with ongoing projects in horticulture, fish farming, and dairy that also benefit the local community
Chibero Agricultural College Intake Programme Overview
The Diploma in Agriculture is a three-year programme, designed to equip students with practical and academic knowledge in agriculture.
- Taught over two semesters each year (15 weeks per semester).
- Includes a three-month pre-college farm attachment before selection.
- Students undertake an additional attachment during the second year of study.
Entry Requirements for Chibero Agricultural College Infate
Applicants must have:
- At least five “O” Level passes, including Mathematics, English, and Science/Agriculture.
- Willingness to undergo a three-month pre-college farm attachment, which forms part of the selection process.
Please note that Completion of the pre-college attachment does not automatically guarantee a place.
